Lisa has suffered from an aphasia stroke that has affected her speech and some of her cognitive ability. They feel the remaining tumor piece that surrounds one of the main arteries in her brain has been squeezing it and limiting its effective ability to distribute the necessary blood flow without clotting, like in this case. They feel with therapy she has a good chance to regain most of her speech and processing abilities. We'll just have to take it a day at a time.
